ImageTranslate product facts and limitations
ImageTranslate is an online translation workspace for images, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, documents and text. Image translation places translated text back into the visual; file tools retain source structure where supported.

Image formats
JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF inputs. Review the generated image before export; animated GIF frame preservation is not guaranteed.
File formats
PDF, PPTX, DOCX, TXT, MD and Markdown. Legacy PPT and DOC files must be converted before upload.
Image languages
133 target-language options in the image workspace, with automatic source detection.
File and text languages
16 target languages: English, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Turkish.
Free access
Sign-in is required to translate. Free accounts are topped up to 30 credits daily; this is a balance top-up, not 30 additional credits that accumulate every day. Model costs vary.
Image batches
Free accounts: 1 image at a time. Subscription catalog: up to 10 images per batch. Account limits are shown in the workspace.
Upload ceilings
Images: 50 MB; PDF: 200 MB; PPTX and DOCX: 100 MB; TXT and Markdown: 20 MB. Lower account or processing limits may apply.
Text processing
Text up to 20,000 characters uses the direct translation endpoint. Longer text uses a background job and is subject to upload and account limits.
Billing
Credits depend on the model and the image count, PDF pages and OCR, slide count, or character count. Review the estimate before submitting. Current prices and model rates are on the pricing page.
Storage and deletion
Uploads and results may be stored for job history and downloads and are processed by service providers. Retention depends on service configuration. Contact support@imagetranslate.org for account or file deletion requests; see the privacy policy for details.
Limitations
Blur, handwriting, overlapping text, vertical lettering and complex layouts may need manual correction. Review names, numbers and text boundaries. Translation does not certify legal, medical or regulated content. Live speech and meeting interpretation are not supported.
